Liberating Poco X3 (karna) from GAFAM[edit]
Hello everyone.
I have bought Poco X3 (karna) recently and attempted to unlock the bootloader. It took 1 week to unlock the device. Later I have explored few ROMs such as LineageOS, Resurrection Remix, dotOS etc. Out of them LineageOS was unstable and I couldn't install Resurrection Remix due to firmware incompatibility as far as I understood. Later tried to install dotOS v5.1.3 which has Android 11. It was successful. The UI and everything was very smooth but I was facing issue with contacts where my contacts are getting disappeared. I used to import the backup contacts regularly. Now I found that dotOS v5.2 got released. I have installed the latest dotOS but the UI is hanging and couldn't turn ON WiFi. Later I have realized that I have to upgrade the firmware. So then I have upgraded to latest firmware then re-installed dotOS v5.2. Now everything is working fine.
